In 1986, Tom Gilmer left Anheuser-Busch and bought a small warehouse in Georgia. It wasn’t glamorous. It wasn’t flashy. But it was the start of something big.
Over the next few decades, the Gilmer family grew the business one facility, one forklift, one customer at a time. His kids—Aaron, Jonalyn, and Erica—worked summers, learned operations firsthand, and eventually stepped into leadership. By the early 2000s, Gilmer rebranded and expanded into a full-service logistics operation.
Today, Gilmer is woman-owned, with multiple warehouses across the Southeast. We run contract packaging lines, fulfillment operations, temperature-controlled storage, and dedicated transportation for national brands and regional manufacturers alike.
But we’re still grounded in what got us here: show up, work hard, do the right thing.
